Anti-Land Mine Activity: Raising Awareness Through Music, MITV News, 18 March 2015

Equality Myanmar has launched a multi-artist awareness raising music video on landmine survivors in Myanmar’s border areas.

Aung Myo Min described the purpose of the effort was, “raise the awareness of the danger of the land mine particularly in the ethnic areas because our country still suffer from the use of land mine across the country and also we want to request the government and authority to have a kind of program for the survivor of land mine so they don’t face the discrimination and they can also have a kind of rehabilitation.” The musicians state that the artists based their songs on true stories.
